Artist's Description

The original photograph of this goblin gent was found in a hotel room desk drawer, faded and forgotten. To human eyes he may appear ugly, even frightening, but to me there is something sad and lonely about him. Perhaps the picture was meant for a sweetheart who rejected his affections; perhaps he simply wanted a record to prove to an uncaring world that he had existed. The only information on the photo was a scrawl on the back, which simply read: Grivens.
