It is quite the fashion in The Autumnlands to pose for portraits--photographic and otherwise--in unusual locations outside of the studio. I had the privilege of being present for this particular portrait, which features three residents from the charming and quite exceptional town of Spookhaven. The feline-looking fellow, Barnabus, was one of the kindest and most congenial individuals I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. He is proprietor of the finest magic shop in Spookhaven, and was generous enough to allow me to stay for a time in the room above his shop, free of charge. The finest vantage point from which to observe the celebration of Halloween at its very heart one could ever wish for.
