A werewolf boy, a little witch girl, and a vampire boy out trick-or-treating in The Autumnlands. They skip (and fly) past a lamp post and a glowing jack o'lantern beneath it. The cobblestones are blanketed in bright autumn leaves.
Historians maintain that the modern tradition of trick-or-treating began in the first decades of the 1900s, but as with most things relating to Halloween, humans are entirely misinformed. Trick-or-treating is only one aspect of the massive Autumnlands celebration of the holiday, yet its roots can be traced back thousands of years, into the murky pre-history or the realm.
These three little ones obviously could not care less about history or traditions. They're swept up in the excitement and mystery of the most magical night of the year...and of course, the heaps of tasty treats don't hurt!
