The Autumnlands can seem chaotic to human sensibilities, and sanity is definitely relative. Where steps toward civilization and an organized "society" have been taken, there are institutions we would recognize. However, in The Autumnlands' version of a mental asylum, the doctors often switch positions interchangeably with the patients. Anyone foolhardy enough to try to get into the head of a goblin deserves what he gets. Thumdum, here, is no exception; it would take more than a net to wrangle the bats in HIS belfry.
